Today at the Ontario Legislature, hundreds of health care advocates representing every region of Ontario gathered to deliver more than 80,000 votes cast in a volunteer-led referendum that asked Ontarians whether or not they want to see their local public hospital services cut and contracted out to private clinics.<\/p>\n<p><!--more--><\/p>\n<p>The vote demonstrates that public opposition to the cuts to community hospitals and contracting out to private clinics is overwhelming.
