On the following pages is an update regarding the status of the LHINs strategic plans and consultations. This information is being sent over our local LHINs listserves for each region. We will not be sending further notices specific to local LHINs over this central OHC list. If you would like to join your local LHINs listserve to receive notices and information about what your LHIN is doing, please scroll down and follow the instructions below the update.<\/i><\/a><\/p>\n If you have further information, corrections or updates for your LHIN region, please do reply to your local LHIN listserve and let people know.<\/i><\/a><\/p>\n Natalie Mehra<\/i><\/a><\/p>\n OHC<\/i><\/a><\/p>\n <\/p>\n The deadline for the LHINs to send in their Strategic Plans to the Ministry is the end of October.<\/p>\n Some LHINs have released theirs locally for input prior to the submission deadline of October 31. Some have not.<\/p>\n Note: IHSP=Integrated Health Service Plan. This is their strategic planning document. For more background on individual LHINS, including integration priority reports and population health profiles, visit the individual LHIN sites via http:\/\/www.lhins.on.ca\/english\/main\/home.asp<\/p>\n Erie St. Clair LHIN<\/a><\/p>\n Erie St. Clair LHIN will complete its integrated health services plan by October 31. It will be released to the public on December 1. No further consultations have been scheduled for the present.<\/p>\n South West LHIN<\/a><\/p>\n South-west LHIN will release its IHSP after October 31.<\/p>\n Waterloo Wellington LHIN<\/a><\/p>\n Waterloo Wellington LHIN\u2019s draft IHSP is available at: http:\/\/www.health.gov.on.ca\/03\/en\/integrated\/integrated_mn.html<\/p>\n Waterloo Wellington will hold a public board meeting on Thursday, Oct. 26 from 7:00pm-9:30pm at Old Quebec Street Shoppes Mall, 55 Wyndham Street N., Guelph, Main Level Room 228. The IHSP will be voted on at this meeting. For more information about Board meetings, please contact Sue Southwell, Executive Assistant at (519) 822-6208 ext. 209 or email: sue.southwell@lhins.on.ca<\/p>\n Hamilton Niagara Brant LHIN<\/a><\/p>\n IHSP will not be released \u201cfor a few weeks\u201d. Consultations have concluded.<\/p>\n Central West LHIN<\/a><\/p>\n The IHSP is available at http:\/\/tinyurl.com\/y7bgk9<\/p>\n Public consultations have ended but you can send feedback on this document to the Central West LHIN by e-mail at centralwest@lhins.on.ca, by fax at (905) 455-0427, or by mail at 8 Nelson Street West, Suite 300, Brampton ON L6X 4J2.<\/p>\n Mississauga Halton LHIN<\/a><\/p>\n The IHSP will be released next week. Consultations are scheduled this week and next at locations up and down the Ottawa Valley. There is also a feedback form available alongside the 30-odd page draft. Upcoming meetings include: October 19 , 7:00 to 9:00 pm, Orl\u00e9ans \u00c8cole Secondaire Catholique; Garneau, 6588 Rue Carri\u00e8re, October 23, 6:00 to 8:00 pm; Casselman Casselview Golf Course, 844 Casselview Road, Route 700<\/p>\n The IHSP and feedback form are available at: http:\/\/www.champlainlhin.on.ca\/<\/p>\n North Simcoe Muskoka LHIN<\/a><\/p>\n The IHSP will be finished by October 31 and will be released by Dec. 1. North Simcoe Muskoka LHIN is planning public conferences in the near future. Phone1-866-903-5446 for dates.<\/p>\n North East LHIN<\/a><\/p>\n The IHSP will be released at the beginning of December. This is the first stage in setting up a communications infrastructure across each LHIN. All those who support the goals of the OHC are invited to join.
