Ontario Health Coalition protests hospital cuts at Queen’s Park

TORONTO – Ontario’s health-care system is hurting from thousands of cuts as Premier Kathleen Wynne and her government pursue an “austerity” budget, protesters say.
The Ontario Health Coalition (OHC) arranged for hundreds of people – and a larger-than-life puppet of Wynne – to descend on Queen’s Park Friday to demand a rollback of corporate tax cuts and greater investment in hospitals and community care.
