Ontario Health Coalition 2026 Annual Organic & Heirloom Garlic Sale

Every year as a fundraiser we sell organic and gourmet mixed-variety garlic. It was the idea of one of our board members from the Brampton Health Coalition years ago just as organic locally grown garlic was starting to become popular. She said, “Garlic to help protect public health care — because it is healthy for you!” People love the garlic. It is amazing quality. We buy from two farmers near Stratford.
Please find attached and below our pre-order forms for the garlic. You can buy it by the one pound bag — either a bag of the organic white music garlic variety or a bag of mixed “heirloom” type gourmet varieties. All proceeds go to help protect and improve public health care.
We are asking anyone who is interested and works in an organization or has a group (social, faith, sports, union, office, really anything) where you can collect a group order and send it in, to consider doing so. We take the pre-orders now in the spring/summer and we clean, bag and distribute the garlic in August and September.
For individuals who are interested, if you have an active local health coalition nearby, you can make a pre-order to pick up at your local health coalition in September. We can get orders to these communities for individuals to pick up at their local coalition (if your community is not on the list, we are sorry): Thunder Bay, Blind River, Sudbury, North Bay, Barrie, Midland, Grey Bruce, Ottawa, Cornwall, Renfrew, Kingston, Jones’ Falls, Oshawa, Toronto, Brampton, Mississauga, Oakville/Halton, Peterborough, Haliburton, Hamilton, Niagara, Kitchener-Waterloo, London, Woodstock, Chatham, Sarnia, and Windsor.
