Midland, Penetanguishene residents protest hospital cuts: Rally at Ontario Legislature draws more than 2,000 people

TORONTO – Chanting, cheering and sign-waving residents of Midland and Penetanguishene joined a protest against hospital cuts of more than 2,000 people Nov. 21 at Queen’s Park in Toronto.

Fran Moreau and Anne Robitaille spoke on a stage outside the Ontario Legislature about the closing of Georgian Bay General Hospital’s Penetanguishene site and what it means to the community.
