Ontario Health Coalition joins fight to save Leamington obstetrics unit

Proponents behind the public campaign to save the obstetrics unit at Leamington District Memorial Hospital say they need to take their fight to Ontario’s health minister.

That was one of the messages from a public meeting held Tuesday evening by the Ontario Health Coalition. The forum included discussions about rural health care in general, but largely focused on the threat of shutting down birthing services at the hospital because of a lack of provincial funding.
