‘We’re going to be isolated’: Butters decries plan to close Port Colborne urgent care centre

Barb Butters says Port Colborne residents “are really frightened” of becoming isolated and denied medical care, as the planned closure of Niagara Health’s urgent care centre draws closer.

The former regional councillor for the city was among roughly 150 people from across Ontario, including several from Niagara, who participated in an Ontario Health Coalition rally at Queen’s Park Wednesday to demand the provincial address concerns about hospital services.
