The Ontario Health Coalition and local health coalitions across the province are organizing steamroller/bulldozer events for March 2 and March 3 to protest the undemocratic nature of the Liberal government’s intention to push through LHINs legislation that the Minister, cabinet and their appointees in LHINs major new powers to order health restructuring including mergers, closures and contracting out.

Scarborough: joining the Toronto demo

12 noon

3 p.m.

Cornwall: demo in front of Liberal MPP Jim Brownell’s constituency office 404 Montreal Rd, Cornwall

4 p.m.

Windsor: demo in front of Windsor West MPP Sandra Pupatello’s constituency (1483 Ouellette Ave, Windsor)

Sudbury: demo at Tom Davies Square (200 Brady Street, Sudbury)

St. Catharines: demo in front of St. Catharines MPP Jim Bradley’s constituency office (2-2 Secord Drive, St. Catharines)

Peterborough: march with placards and improvised steamrollers to Peterborough MPP Jeff Leal’s constituency office for 1 p.m. (236 King St, Peterborough)
